Hello everyone I hope you all had a great fall break.
I woke up this morning to find a very humorous story on ESPN. Tiger Woods was attacked by a fan on Sunday during the Frys.com Open. He apparently was inspired by the movie Drive to do something courageous in his lifetime and finding a perfect opportunity, thought this was his outlet. While Tiger Woods was about to take an 18ft Birdie putt, a man name Brandon Kelly came running onto the green holding a hotdog, lined up and threw it at Tiger. Supposably after throwing it he dropped to the ground with his hands behind his back waiting to be arrested and was. Now I just feel that a man goes to a movie, feels inspired to live life, then goes to an Open to throw a wiener at a golfer, what kinda movie was this?!? But as funny as it is, we should be lucky that it was only a hotdog and not anything serious!
Other then flying wieners, football on Sunday was alright. Expecting a tough game or even lose, Steelers really came alive against the Titans winning 38-17! Also watching the Bills contain and conquer the Eagles was pretty sweet! but being only thursday I'm already ready for this Sunday! Also the Slippery Rock Homecoming game against Cal should be a good one!
I will talk to you soon and thanks for reading!
I saw the story also this morning, and it's crazy was people are driven to do based on movies. I know I personally don't think of movies and TV as impacting my life to a great extent but people really do copy what is shown on television. Thank goodness in this case it was nothing serious.
